Source of the Albula

Quelle der Albula (oua_13786268_image)
At Crap Alv the Albula rises and forms a small waterfall. Along the hiking trail there are always small clear lakes to discover. If you follow the hiking trail to the Crap Alv Laiets, you will come across more small lakes.

Description

The Rhaetian Railway will take you as far as Preda. The hiking trail leads to Lai da Palpuogna, past the ETH research station to Alp Weissenstein. The Albula continues to flow into the Lai da Palpuogna until Filisur, where the Landwasser flows into the Albula. It is only at Tiefencastel that Julia and Albula flow together.
