Preda station - Bergün station (railway adventure trail, stage 1)

The hike begins at Preda station. From the station, follow the signpost and turn left onto the hiking trail. It first leads under the railway line, then turn right. The path now runs along the railway line and offers beautiful views of the route. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead on a narrow hiking trail. From here, the path becomes steeper, with roots and steps – good footwear and surefootedness are recommended. The path passes a fireplace and under a viaduct. Further down, the path widens again and passes another fireplace. At the next junction, go straight ahead and follow the Vitaparcours, which passes the Bergün campsite. From there, continue along the stream to the bridge. After crossing the bridge, turn left to enter the village of Bergün. There, follow the main street to the left and stroll through the village to the Kakadu Bar – the hike's destination.
