Parc Ela Trek Etappe 15, Variante 1: Stugl - Schönboda - Jenisberg

From the small mountain village of Stugl, with the Engadine houses and the church, with the murals of the Giotto School (around 1360/70) we hike over the mountain pasture settlements of Falein. This variant for us passes below the settlement and then goes towards Filisur. Above the village we walk along the railway line until it makes a large arc. There we pierce under the railway line up to Schönboden. At the end of the clearing at the fireplace we take the right T3 path marked as "Walserweg" or Via Romantica to Jenisberg. The spectacular hiking trail crosses the Rusen, scree slopes and avalanche trains that run down from the Muchetta to the Landwasser. Overnight stay Jenisberg: Sägässähenki.
