Description

Beautiful circular route through the magnificent Albula Valley and the Parc Ela nature park in the canton of Graubünden. The Path of the Pioneers passes 13 different information boards that describe the natural history of the Albula Valley. Along the way, you learn more about the forest, avalanches and mudflows, as well as the rocks in the area. The hike passes the Crap Furo, a 60-meter-high and impressive rock outcrop that rises from the landscape and is considered the geographical center of the canton of Graubünden. The hiking trail is easy to walk. In some places, the path is slightly steep.
