Davos Monstein – Davos Wiesen – Viaductplatz - Schmitten GR Landwasser Viaduct stop

From Davos Wiesen station, follow the signpost towards Landwasser Viaduct/Leidboden. After the railway crossing, turn right, then left gently downhill onto the hiking path. The path leads under the Wiesner Viaduct and further down to Leidboden.

From there, continue towards Landwasser Viaduct, through a small beech forest. At the signpost go straight on – do not cross the bridge.

The path continues along the Landwasser river. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes, you reach the Landwasser Viaduct, where seats and a kiosk invite you to rest.

From Viaductplatz, a wide path leads straight ahead towards Filisur. Shortly after, you reach the first junction at Schmelzboden. Here, turn right onto the marked hiking trail. The path now steeply ascends and leads uphill via steps. After ascending, the path passes under the railway track. Immediately afterwards, turn again and follow the path to the Schmitten GR Landwasser Viaduct stop.

From the stop, there is the option to follow the hiking trail to the Hennings viewing platform in about 5 minutes. There, a spectacular view of the Landwasser Viaduct awaits you.

For onward travel, you can take the Viaduct shuttle from the stop, which either goes to Filisur station or Alvaneu station.
