Description

The hike begins at the Davos Monstein train station and first leads to the Schmelzboden, where the Graubünden Mining Museum is located. From there, it goes slightly downhill into the impressive Zügenschlucht, along the Landwasser river. At the Bärentritt, the path becomes narrow and spectacular - here the path branches off to the left and continues downhill following the marked hiking trail. Once you arrive at Davos Wiesen train station, you have the opportunity to stop at the Zügabeizli

Then cross the impressive Wiesnerviadukt (approx. 10 minutes from Davos Wiesen station). Shortly afterwards you reach the Coray viewing platform, which offers a magnificent view of the trains. The path climbs moderately by about 50 metres in altitude and leads shady with slight ups and downs to the Schönboden rest area.

From there, go straight ahead in the direction of Filisur train station. A detour to the Greifenstein castle ruins is also possible from here. The path from Schönboden is wide and suitable for prams and wheelchairs. After the next junction, follow the hiking trail downhill to the right to the next signpost, turn left there and reach the village of Filisur and the train station directly.
