Description

The hike starts at Alvneu train station and leads via the Farsox ranch to the Landwasser Viaduct, if you like, make a detour to the Hennings viewing platform, and back to Filisur. Combine the great hike with a ride on the ViakuktShuttle!

Directions

From Alvaneu train station over the railway crossing to the hiking trail in the direction of Filisur, Landwasser Viaduct. First the hiking trail leads above, then below the railway line of the Rhaetian Railway. A first break can be taken at the Farsox ranch, then it continues to the Landwasserviakukt rest area. If you want to take a look at the spectacular Viakukt from above, you can make a detour to the Hennings viewing platform (total duration of the detour about 30 minutes). At the Landwasserviadkut rest area below the Landwasser Viaduct, you can take a long break. Barbecue area and information kiosk for snacks and drinks are available.

Along the Landwasser it now goes back towards Filisur, cross the bridge of the old cantonal road and follow the slightly ascending path to Filisur.

The tour can also be done in the opposite direction. Check the travel times of the viaduct shuttle.
