The hamlet Latsch is clearly visible on a hilltop above Bergün at 1588 m above sea level. The idyllically located, sunny mountain village is a popular excursion destination with a wonderful view of the Bergün mountains.

Description

Latsch is inhabited all year round and has about 50 inhabitants. Some apartments offer guests peace and relaxation. The small restaurant Schmid in the upper village is considered an insider tip for all. In 1883, the village consisted of 30 farms of which today, however, only two are actively managed. 1952 - 54 the first Heidi film was shot in Latsch, with Heinrich Gretler, Elsbeth Siegmund and Thomas Klameth in the leading roles.
