Flora Raetica

One century after the historical "Flora of Graubünden" (Braun-Blanquet & Rübel), Flora Raetica is working on a citizen science project to draw up a comprehensive inventory of Graubünden's flora by the anniversary year of 2032. The focus is on the question of how the distribution and abundance of species have changed over the last 100 years and what the causes are.

Thomas Wolgemuth talks about the goals of IG Florae and how we can all help to research Graubünden's flora: On the one hand, a scientific basis is to be created in order to take targeted measures in favour of biodiversity. On the other hand, the aim is to get people excited about botany and to make the diversity of Graubünden's flora visible.
