Special exhibition
From 12 September 2026, the special exhibition "Building in the UNESCO World Heritage" will be on display. In Switzerland, around half of the cantons are now home to World Heritage sites. Construction projects must be closely coordinated with the protection of the World Heritage Site. The new special exhibition "Building in the UNESCO World Heritage" addresses this topic. The focus is on the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina landscape.

Model Railway
The model railway workshop shows extraordinary, detailed buildings, viaducts and tunnels of the Rhaetian Railway in the condition of the 1950s and 1960s in gauge 0m. It is designed as a workshop. The builder Bernhard Tarnutzer can be found regularly on site and will be happy to provide information about the construction and design of the layout. The demonstration time will be indicated on site (usually from 3.00 p.m.). You can also experience a virtual cab ride through the model railway layout.
