Wasserweg ansaina 01: Batterie

Nine piles of wood made of young layered tree trunks create an inconspicuous place, a place of power, on the banks of the Albula. The path from the old covered wooden bridge winds its way through collected energy. This place unfolds both the nature and the culture of the valley. And this is not only due to the wood of the tree trunks, but also to the light, the sun, the rain and the snow. The changing contrast of these rough wooden surfaces also tells something of the depth: of the narrow side valleys of the Albula, but also of the movement of the trees in the nearby forest from which they come.
