Chant da Goita Laces

On 31 December, the singers meet in Latsch at 10 pm in the village church. After a short sing-in, the first song is sung at the old schoolhouse. Until midnight, a dozen more locations follow in the light of the street lamps. As in Bergün/Bravuogn 2 songs from the booklet "Chanzoñs da Goita" are sung, and as in the valley floor, shortly before midnight the last "Ün mumaint e l'ura batta"/"Only a few more seconds" is performed. In Latsch, young people from the village ring in the old year on the church tower before midnight and then ring in the new one.
